Customer dividend

Our largest owner, the Gjensidige Foundation, owns 62 % of our shares and has shared its dividend with our non-life insurance customers every year since 2010. Read more at gjensidige.no (in Norwegian).

The link between insurance and the environment

Gjensidige has its roots in the countryside, and agriculture has always been a key part of our portfolio. Our approach to sustainability for insurance can therefore be compared to how one runs a farm: one must hand over the farm in better condition than when it was taken over, to the next generation.
